Monday Pub Sessions
The Monday Pub sessions are going really well. The 1st and 3rd Monday of the month we play in the Standing Stones near Morrisons; and the 2nd and 4th Monday we play in the Driftwood in Trearddur Bay. Sessions start at about 7:30 until about 10. These are slightly different than our Friday practice meetings in that, songs will be decided by those attending and anyone can lead or request songs. These will be public venues so hopefully we may have others joining in and perhaps playing with us. For more information check out ‘Jamming Etiquette’ on the tips page.New - You Tube Channel
Over Christmas we’ve started to put together a you channel containg our videos. It’s still very much in its infancy and You can find it hereOur Polo Shirts
We purchase all our garments from Seren Embroidery & Printing, based in Almwch. Anna and Wayne provide a fast and friendly service, always helpful and reliable. Their products and their printing are first class, warm and good value. We often get nice comments about how smart we all are and the members love them. The website and face book pages has been running for a year now and continues to be developed and enhanced. The latest changes are: All String n Things songs are now available under the Songs menu. We’re learning to use video more and a starting up a youTube channel.Membership

I’ve been to Lizzy Lee’s music shop in Llangefni a few time now and have always found them very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, moreover, they offer really good value. Pat and Lee own and run the shop at the top end of the high street. Pat also does personal tuition on a range of instruments. They also do ‘setups’ and repairs etc. There’s plenty of parking around the back of the shop (Station Yard Car Park). New Songs
The Song Bank in continually being updated with new songs and updates to existing songs. To see the latest songs, sort them in “Date Last Amended” order. All the songs are in PDF format. You can get the free Adobe Reader from you app store or from here. If there are any songs that you wish the group to play just let let Mike know, we’ll get the tabs for them and try them out. We’re planning a 60s night, the venue will be in the hall and admission will be free. We’re busy learning and practicing some great songs, there is no date fixed yet.
